NIU Alumna Presents Thesis Findings at Women In Intelligence Forum

Recent NIU graduate Leona Partis was the featured speaker at DIA's Women in Intelligence Group on 16 December 2011, during which she presented the key findings of her 2011 thesis, "Exploring the Relationship between Demographic Variables and Career Progression Variables for Senior Executive Service Women Leaders in the Intelligence Community." Ms. Partis noted that the keys to success for women the intelligence profession – hard work, mentorship, and education – hold true for men as well. The NIU was well represented at this gathering: Dr. Felicia Bradshaw, who served as the thesis committee chair, participated in the panel discussion that followed the thesis presentation.
