Overview

The Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Department leads and manages a comprehensive program of institutional research, accreditation, and compliance, and is responsible for monitoring institutional effectiveness and improvement through a variety of studies and assessment actions.
IE reports to the Office of the Provost and serves as a primary resource for University Leaders and faculty members. As the point of contact for university data and the latest methodologies designed for outcomes assessment in higher education, IE is committed to developing, enhancing, and maintaining information to support decision making, planning, and reporting

Goals of Institutional Effectiveness

  1. Coordinate and monitor compliance activities for institutional accreditation.
  2. Produce accurate, concise, and timely data and analysis to support institutional planning, leadership decision making, and university publications.
  3. Foster conversion of institutional assessment data into strategic action.
  4. Measure achievement of institutional, program, and course learning outcomes.
