MSCHE

The National Intelligence University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).  The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. In order for NIU to maintain accreditation the institution undergoes a comprehensive evaluation process every eight years. The evaluation cycle includes the submission of a self-study report and an onsite visit by an accreditation team composed of experienced professionals from other institutions. Additional Accreditation

The University was granted initial Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I Program accreditation by the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff. This specialized professional accreditation is available to select military officers who participate in the designated joint curriculum.
